M. Andrea Candiani

In the curriculum vitae of Andrea Candriani you will find first level experiences and many successes.

As technical commissioner of the Italian national team he has conquered:

•  silver medal with the women's sword team at the Atlanta '96 Olympics
•  gold medal with the men's sword team at the Sydney 2000 Olympics

As a coach he has coached athletes of the caliber of the Olympic Champion in Beijing 2008 Matteo Tagliariol and of the individual European and team world champion Bianca del Carretto.

He was the maestro of Enrico Garozzo with whom he won the silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics.

He is currently Marco Fichera's master with whom he won the silver medal at the Rio De Janeiro 2016 Olympics, Andrea Santarelli (also a silver medal in the same edition of the games but under the guidance of another master) and by Michele Niggeler World Champion in Wuxi 2018 and vice world champion in teams in Leipzig 2017.

Winner of 2 Italian team titles with the club he belongs to and 3 Italian individual titles, two of which with Marco Fichera.
